What Is an Offering?

OFFERINGS HAVE EXISTED IN FORBIDDEN MAGIK FOR AS LONG AS WE CAN REMEMBER OR VERIFY.

​

An Offering is something you give up — a memory, a secret, a small story that won’t leave you alone.
It might be beautiful, disturbing, funny, erotic, painful, or unclear.

It doesn’t need to be true.
But it must feel true.

​

Offerings can be shared anonymously and may include images. Each one enters the ritual archive, where visitors explore, reflect, and rate what resonates.

 

What Is an Declaration?
DECLARATIONS WERE BORN A FEW YEARS AGO, WHEN THE INNER CIRCLE NOTICED SOMETHING STIRRING IN THE OFFERINGS.
SOME SUBMISSIONS WERE NOT CONFESSIONS AT ALL, BUT BOLD PROCLAMATIONS — WARNINGS, VISIONS, CURSES, AND TRUTHS WAITING TO BE SPOKEN.

A Declaration is not a confession — it is a statement you cast into the open: a sign, a suspicion, a message you cannot ignore.

It may be prophetic, unsettling, hopeful, cryptic, dangerous, or strange.

It doesn’t need to be proven.
But it must carry weight.

 

Declarations may speak of what is coming, what is brewing, or what must be feared. They can be shared openly or in shadow. Each one enters the living record, where others witness, consider, and decide what echoes.

Why do we support Forbidden Magik?

We believe that:
Some things shouldn’t stay buried.

• Not all confessions are cries for forgiveness.

• Stories have power — especially the uncomfortable ones.

• Mystery and meaning can live side by side.

• Many others can be moved by bold declarations

Scoring & Recognition - Vote from 1 to 4

Who can enter a vote score? All visitors includes; random visitors, (known as - The Shadowed Ones), and all circle members, can enter a vote and make a score for any of the Offerings. Voters, decide on 1 to 4 flames (points) based on personal impact.
Or otherwise said, on how the Offering or Declaration made you think or emotionally moved you. Scale 1-4.
 

IMPORTANT: kindly note that when flames are calculated for the allocation of payments and prizes to members;

 

CIRCLE MULTIPLIER (CM)

Each member’s vote is first multiplied according to their Circle:

• Veiled Circle: × 1

• Witness Circle: × 2

• Elder Circle: × 3

• Inner Circle: × 5
   

MEMBERSHIP PERIOD MULTIPLIER (MPM)

After applying the Circle Multiplier, the result is adjusted based on the member’s duration of membership:

• Week 1 – 2: × 0.5

• Week 3 – 5: × 0.75

• Week 6 - 25: × 1.0

• Week 26 and onward x 1.5

This ensures new members come in gradually, while established members receive the full effect.
 

EXAMPLES

Inner Circle example

An Inner Circle member (6 weeks in) casts a vote of 2 for an Offering.

1. Apply CM:
   2 × 5=10

2. Apply MPM (Week 6 → × 1.0):
   10 × 1.0 = 10 

Final recorded flames: 10
 

Elder Circle example

An Elder Circle member (6 weeks in) casts a vote of 2 for an Offering.

1. Apply CM:
   2 × 3 = 6 

2. Apply MPM (Week 6 → × 0.75):
   6 × 0.75 = 4.5

Final recorded flames: 4.5

Higher scores receive higher rewards, features, or invitations to join our private, higher Circles (like the Elders Circle or the Inner Circle).

Note: Rewards are paid to those submitting Offerings and Declarations.

The rewards are increased by joining a higher circle, by submitting Offerings/Declarations regularly (at least once a week), and by completing Advice forms.

Anyone can access the 'OFFERINGS' which tell of nefarious or petty wrong-doings. These 'outpourings' are done in confidence and anonymously. TO MAKE AN OFFERING - GO HERE.

ONLY MEMBERS CAN VOTE.

RESTRICTED CATEGORIES

Only Witness, Elder or Inner Circle subscriptions can access the Offerings Category;

 4. Scorching - Serious Wrongs, and 5. Molten - Major Violations.

PAYMENTS AND PRIZES

The different kinds of payments are made each month to members with current subscriptions:

HOW ARE THE PAYMENTS AND PRIZES MADE UP?

​

Half of all net income is allocated to CIRCLES, and the other half is paid to SPONTANEOUS PRIZES.

​

50% to CIRCLES ALLOCATIONS - as follows

There are 4 pools of money, consisting of all incomes; donations, subscriptions and other sums.
The total income amount, after admin and oversight costs of 11%, is divided into pools/funds as follows;

Calculations are made, once a week, at midnight on Sunday nights.

​

• 40% to the Inner Circle

• 30% to the Elder Circle

• 20% to the Witness Circle

• 10% Top Flames Winner - paid to the single member with the most 'flames' this is the term used for 'highest points.'

(Shadowed members (casual visitors) and Veiled Circle members do not receive payments)

There are 4 memberships subscriptions; but only the Witness, Elder and Inner circles are eligible for payments and prizes.

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR PAYMENTS & PRIZES - For any current week

​

1. A current subscription to Forbidden Magik.

2. Proven 'action' during the payment week, and the previous week.

3. 'Action' means to have; 

​

• at least 1 Offering or Declaration completed and approved

• at least 1 Advice provided, approved and published

• at least 10 Votes made in favour of other members of any other circles

​

10 Votes mean, to give from 1 to 4 flames in a valid vote, to any published member, to ten individual members. Making more than 1 vote (of 1 to 4 flames) in a current week, multiple times, invalidates all votes by that voting member.

MAKING AN INTRODUCTION OF A NEW MEMBER

If not required to qualify for payments and prizes, however when an introduction is made, the total flames for that member are doubled for the current week.

Flames are quadrupled when 2 or more introductions are made.
To achieve the doubling or quadrupling; flames are increased within the portion(s) of cake allocated to that specific veiled membership.

ONCE QUALIFIED, WHAT DO YOU GET?

Once You Cross the Threshold, What Awaits You?

Those who qualify within their Circle become eligible to receive a portion of the Circle’s hidden treasury.

First, the Circle’s share is measured and sealed.

Then, each member is weighed by the flames they have gathered in the week.

Only those whose fire burns brighter than the Circle’s own average light are permitted to remain.

These chosen figures divide the Circle’s reward — proportionate to the heat they hold.

Once Qualified, What Do You Receive?

All qualified members of a Circle are eligible to receive a share of that Circle’s allocated fund.

First, the total amount assigned to each Circle is calculated.

Within each Circle, all qualified members are ranked by the number of flames they earned during the week.

Members whose score falls below the Circle’s weekly average are excluded.

The remaining members divide the Circle’s total — pro rata — based on the flames they hold.

We prefer to stay veiled or hidden. We are who we are and that's for us to know and for you to ponder on.
But if you must know something, we consist of: writers, consultants, politicians, artists, permanent bar-tenders, taxi/rideshare-drivers, all kinds of entrepreneurs, coders, and business advisors - we are confessors and declarants all.

Bound one and all, by the belief that something sacred still burns beneath our inner personal noise.

Members must complete their subscriptions using a real name and a valid email address. This information is required for financial purposes, as we cannot issue payments anonymously. All payouts must be made to a legitimate bank account, whether in the United Kingdom or abroad (international transfer fees may apply).

This does not mean your personal information is shared. It remains fully protected. No personal data has ever been released — and it never will be.
