The Uninsured Car Knock Scam
I'd let my insurance lapse. I misjudged a gap, pulled out, and clipped a car. Minor damage, but the other driver was shaken. I gave false details and drove off. They tracked me via a dashcam. I'm being sued personally for £8,300. I have no way to pay.
