The Routine Was Maintained

I touched patients during routine checks in ways that weren’t required. I framed it as care and moved quickly so it felt procedural. I chose moments when people were anxious or medicated and unlikely to challenge me. I documented everything as normal observations. Over years, multiple patients experienced it and none of them connected it to misconduct because the setting made it seem necessary. Complaints were vague and dismissed as confusion. I stayed in post and trained others while the pattern continued.
