I glanced down for two seconds to read a WhatsApp. When I looked up, traffic was stopped. I rear-ended the car at 40 mph, causing a four-car shunt. Airbags deployed. The car I hit had a pregnant woman. She was okay, but in trauma. My insurance paid £22k. My phone log showed the timestamp.
