I Stole from My Partner
I took money from our joint account without asking and told them it was for utilities. It wasn’t. I moved it into my own account and spent it on things I didn’t want to explain. When the balance dipped, I blamed rising costs and showed them fake screenshots. They trusted me because I handled the finances. I did it more than once and got better at covering it. They still think we were just unlucky with bills.
